I picked her up recently from Petco as assorted Betta. She was the smallest out of them all and I haven't had a Betta in about a year and a half since my other one has passed away. I've had a tank establishing for a few months now not knowing what to do with it gave me the perfect opportunity.

There's just something about her, out of the kois, orchids elephant ears, I wanted her. so small such dull colors so much potential. So I grabbed her off the shelf and toom her home.

For the last week I have been observing her and I can say she's got quite the personality. Shes always trying to pick at shrimp that are way too big for her size and she even gives me a stink eye when she can't catch one. She can express herself quite well with those big eyes of Hers. She comes up to the glass when I tap it just like my very first Betta did when I started the hobby about 3 years ago.

Ive learned she's a picky eater. She will not eat the flakes I feed but will gladly take bloodworms and the occasional baby shrimp if she can find one. She is stubborn when it comes to trying new foods. It took 2 days of trying to show her seed shrimp are food. When she noticed she had a blast as you can see in the picture above.

What I have come to learn from my betta and this subreddit is you do not need to spend big bucks to get big personality out of a fish. I know some of the best fish I have had were under $10.
