I believe the first one is just your standard common but not too sure on the second. Is it a mirror?
P.S. are these pristine carp? Healthy? Good mouth?

Yep first is a common and the second is a mirror, both in great condition, the mirror has one or two blemishes but that should clear up in time.

On the right, Brad. On the left, Geoff, and it looks like he’s just told another poorly constructed joke and he’s waiting for you to get the punchline.

One on the left is called Terry. Never met the right hand one

Well done mate! If you like Carp try a small feeder setup with ground bait and a short hook length, about 4 inches to a size 14 or 16 hook with a pellet on a hair rig. Have your rod set at a 45 degree angle to either your left or right and cast slightly in the opposite direction, have your line nice and tight and as soon as you get a proper bite 8 times out of 10 the fish will hook itself 🙂
I’m entirely unsure of your experience so please forgive me if this sounds a bit patronising! Have fun!
