Random catches from this past week in FL.
-
Mangrove snapper and my son's pinfish

My first Jack Crevale, and first catch ever on a lure. Was so pumped on this guy. What a fight!! I saw birds going nuts out in the distance so I ran down the beach and threw a 1 oz spoon. It was instantly crushed by this guy.

Snook – unfortunately he was hooked in the gills and did not make it.

Unsure of species but I thought it was a cool looking fish.
Others caught during the week- Several catfish. Some of them were massive. They are a great fight but definitely not what I'm looking for and they are a pain to dehook. Several 10"+ mangrove snapper. A smaller trout, 3 or 4 whiting, and some other type of jack fish but we're unsure of species. Overall a great week, the fish are definitely biting in st Pete area.
Cheers!
