I was canoeing on a large river trying to catch carp. The spawn was in full swing so we just enjoyed watching them chase all around us in a cove. There were so many carp mostly concentrating in weed beds jumping and looking for love. It was so exciting seeing them up close and personal and I was even able to pet one. All of a sudden a monster appeared and I got so excited a spooked it. The fish looks like it's over 30lbs. I've caught plenty of 20lbers on this river and this fish made them look tiny. I'd like to try and catch it.
