After only catching fish on worms and failing with a rooster tail, spoon, frog, and chatter bait I got a rupula jointed floating minnow. As soon as it hit the water I had a bite and after a few casts I pulled in my first lure caught fish. Oh man this hobby is great. Better high than hard drugs.
