Caught a bunch of different fish today on the Brazos River near Brazos Point (about 50 miles SW of Fort Worth). First fish was a bottle nose gar on a black #4 cone head wooly bugger. My first and hopefully last ever lol. Rest of the day, just a bunch of small ones but fun nonetheless. No experience with catching Gar so naturally I thought I could retrieve my fly-negative. Had to cut the line near its mouth and let it go.
