This was my PB. A steelhead (or lake run rainbow for the pedantic) in the Brule River WI a few years back. Fought him for like 15 minutes. Almost lost him under a log. Lost my hat while stumbling over the rocks mid fight. Core memory. What’s your favorite fish memory?
