Just curious what everyone is thinking on the size of this fish. My guess was 21ish inches.

My finger in the air said 20” saw you said 21” when I opened it, seems in the ballpark. Always hard to tell in the photos. Just tell your buddies you taped it at 21”. Never fails.
Beauty of a brown, nice work.
I also measured my net tip to tail so I could stack fish up next to it and get an approx when I get a big dog. Might be a good tip for you 🙂

Next time put it next to your rod. Tail to tip and when you get home, measure the spot on you rod. You can also mark you rod which I do when I build them. You can use a model paint pen, thin line every inch. My 5wt marked to 24″. I did it for my buddy when I built his rod, but I don’t think he likes the accuracy…to each his own. I know what I caught.
