Photo for context. My local tailwater has lots of great dry fly opportunities for small bwo and midges. I have some daiichi hooks and have success with them but on larger fish these fine wire hooks bend out. Medium to large rainbows and browns, pushy current. Does anyone have a favorite dry fly in size 20 or smaller with either 2x wire or that does not bend easily? Photos for reference.

Fulling Mill Ultimate Dry Fly has been good for me.
Tiemco 900 BL is my preferred hook for midges, BWOs, ants.
i’m partial to the Daiichi 1100/1110’s i’ve also been satisfied with Mustad R50’s but 20 is the smallest I usually tie
I much prefer to just tie to a bigger hook. You can use suprisingly big hooks on small flies if you just ignore portion of the hook when you tie your pattern on it.
It is also way better for the fish to not dangle at the end of the line for 30 minutes as you try to magic it into the net with inadequate tacle.
This is the classic issue of size vs tie.
Tie your patterns on a 18 hook but tie them the size you would on a 20/22 hook
100 SP-BL. They only go down to 20 though.
