New to the hobby(brand new), I like deals or staying cheap when trying new hobbies. I ultra light fish at the moment, but really interested in fly fishing. Looking to stay around $250. Would you recommend a fenwick rod and cheap bass pro reel and good line or the Cortland Guide series? Thinking on 4wt. I know the line on the kit probably won’t be as good. But saves me $50ish. I’m just wondering if the Fenwick rod would be a better option for the money. I’ve researched some and know that most say rod and line are most important with 5wt & below! Open to other options as well. I just don’t wanna buy a $50-$100 kit and like it and then spend $250 in a couple months. Thank You for any information!
