Spent a few hours stripping line in 30ish degree weather at Pyramid Lake today and it paid off.
This good size (but not large by Pyramid standards) Summit Lahontan Cutthroat took a woolly bugger on a full sink line nearly bouncing off the bottom in 10′ or so of water.
Took me about 10 or so minutes to land it on my own. Got lucky, a guy came along and was willing to snap a photo for me but otherwise, this area was not being fished whatsoever.
