I got these beautiful waders in a size small for my birthday. I'm so stoked to use them. I am 5'4", 160lbs (bit of a muffin top, lol). I wear a size 8 US boot.
The sock part is attached to the waders – and it is huuuuge on me. I mean, about 1.5x the width of my foot. I was hoping that this was normal? They are slippy to walk in without boots because of how big they are on my feet. I don't think I can size down – the waders are a bit tight on my belly. Granted, I do go down a few lbs in the summer. I haven't tried them on with boots yet – I don't own any proper wading boots. That's my next purchase. I usually just wear hiking shoes and get them soaked. Do you think that sliding the socks into some boots would be ok? I guess I'd have to size up.
