Hey everyone, got gifted this “Orvis Impregnated Battenkill” fly rod, but I have some questions on it.
1. What line weight is it?
2. Never seen a handle and reel seat like that. Would it be best to refurbish the handle to include a modern reel seat? If not, can i use a regular reel on this? (Doesn’t seem to be very sturdy and don’t want the reel to fall off).
3. It might need some TLC. Does anyone know where i could send it for it to get fixed up? (Cork handle, guides, etc).
