These were my favorite fish, not because of the size (obviously), but because getting them was an adventure ( I camped solo in RMNP in an alpine lake to get the Greenback Cutty) or because it was completely unexpected (the tiger).
Also kinda cool that these are relatively rare catches. Caught the tiger in Boulder Creek, which is an absurd rarity, and the Cutty, well, that’s rare in a more general sense. The location pf the greenback was also spectacular. Got REALLY close to a bear and a moose. Incredible how those 2 can get so close to you without you not even noticing. 😅
