Started fly fishing in spring mainly fishing big rivers and ponds and went out west for first time in the fall for a memorable trip where I started fishing brookies in tiny creeks. I’m from Alberta and I find brook trout throughout the west are often overlooked for how fun they are and people often rather go for browns or pike in larger rivers in repetitive float trips(out of people I know). I find my province is amazing for blue lining and there a beautiful fish everywhere and unique opportunities often under every one’s noses .
