Fished today. Got 3 including a decent 3lber but…. Fishing a c-rig on a rocky hump and thought my weight was hung on a rock. Got it free and reel it in and there’s a giant scale on the end of my hook. I’ll never know how big but it was a big bass. I have a 10.8 from 2 years ago and I never really looked at the size of the scales on it, but this sure seems like it’s gotta be in that class. Anybody ever pull a scale off a big bass to compare. I also can’t figure out how a scale got wedged on my hook unless the fish was facing away from me and the hook grabbed it when I pulled it free.
