I was diagnosed with Epilepsy this Spring and have been mostly unable to drive. In my state you're supposed to be seizure free for at least 3 months to be able to drive. I had 1 week between the first time I hit 3 months and my next seizure. This fish came from the one time I was able to drive myself up to a favorite stretch and spend all day fishing by myself. I've fished less this year than I ever have in my life, and dealing with a burdensome disease while not being able to safely access my pastime has been emotionally crushing. I've had to give up so much. But, this one above average cutbow and a great day of fishing keep me going in hopes that I'll wind up with effective medication and be able to do the things I love the most.
January 8th is my next 3 month line, and hopefully this time I'll stay seizure free for years to come.

You show incredible resilience. I hope you find your feet in the water more often than you expect.
Awesome! I hope your stretch continues long enough that you don’t have to worry about it anymore.
Best of luck on adapting, can’t imagine.
