Afternoon fellow fly enthusiasts,
I got into fly fishing last summer (best decision I ever made) and this is what my current fly box looks like. While I managed to have success with this, I’m really looking to build out a solid box (or two… haha)!
As you can see, the current setup consists of some dries (p adams, bwo, caddis, tricos), emergers (bwo, x-caddis, poly loop), nymphs (hare’s ear, pheasant tail, spanish bullet), two wooly buggers and some terrestrials like a grasshopper and ant.
I’ve also started tying my own flies… absolutely love it 🙂
While I’ve done a significant amount of research and know quite a bit about flies… it’s still overwhelming and I need some suggestions as to how I can build out from here… so let’s hear it!
