Heya, i am using dewalt 18 5,0AH, combined with strikemaster. When i get to the end of the ice it just spins over the adapter, no idea what’s going on although i am sure that i’m doing everything as i should. I am still trying to find out what’s wrong, as it might be something wrong with the pieces that i got? I am drilling it straight to the adapter that i got and it seems to not get the grip it needs to make the full hole in the ice, the ice is fairly thick around 15-20cm.

Looks like you need to tighten the drill. I think I can see some stripping or rounding on the adapter. Looks like metal shavings in the drill and at the plate on the adapter. I don’t have the same drill or auger but I can do 2 feet of ice no problem with mine.
