The days are winding down, and judging by the forecast I’ll likely get just one more day in before the year ends. This will likely stand as my brown trout of the year. If I manage to catch a bigger one, I’ll post that one too.
This is also my PB brown trout. 27”. He hit my streamer on a dead swing. I was on a solo mission that day, so no hero shots. I tried to get a better pic with him out of the net next to my Spey rod, but as expected he flopped his way to freedom. Rather than pounce on him, I chose step back and let him be.
