Headed to fish these to connected lakes for a week and the circled spots are where I’m planning to go. Let me know if those will be good spots for walleye or if you see any other location on the maps. Also the depths are off and about 5 feet deeper then it says. It’s a clear deep lake. Thanks

  1. I would think so. The first picture shows a deep choke point under some shallower flats. My guess is walleye probably hang out/travel through there to feed on the flats. Just please be cautious if that area has current flowing through it and this week warming up in a lot of places.

For the second pic, I’d fish that north circle before I fish the south one. The break line at the end of the drop offs and start of a muck flat basin look amazing. Especially with a muck to sand transition mixed in.

  2. Be careful of any current in the narrows, even up here in Saskatchewan where it hits -40, lakes with narrows like that don’t freeze well. Small lakes can have current, not much but it’s messes up ice formation.
