I fought this guy for over 5 minutes. We were walleye fishing and he bit a small rainbow. This tip up was setup with a 10 pound mono snell. And yes I know I should have a gaff but the regulations on the lake are all pike over 30” must be returned to the water immediately. I’m not going to kill a fish for a picture. Seeing him below the clear spots in the ice was crazy. I’ve caught some big pike out there but this one was an absolute pig. Barely came through the 8” hole.
