Going to Maine again in may, and wanted a 6/7wt rod to throw some bigger streamers, learned kinda quick my 5wt does not like casting what I tied, so I stumbled on this marketplace beauty which in all reality is my ideal rod 7wt and is absolutely artwork paired with a Galvan OB-5, but the seller decided to stop responding me in the middle of negotiations, he wanted an airsoft gun I was selling, I made him a very reasonable offer that he said was very interested in but need cash, so I told him I can either add cash or pay you straight cash just need to know what you want to make a deal, then 2 days later he says someone else offered more cash, even tho I said I’d give him his full asking price in cash he said sorry other guys got dibs then ghosted me.
I know this is hand made and likely nothing close is available but does anyone know someone who could make me even a similar rod or have someone like this for sale?
