So I’ve been using the Milwaukee mud mixer drill for a couple years and smoked it yesterday. It turned my 6” hand auger no problem and was tough to use the 8”. Mostly use the 6” for fishing and use it probably once a week for fishing. Was wondering if there is a better option like the hole hawg drill which is made for similar stuff?

I’ve run a Dewalt 996 with an 8.5in K-Drill for…4 or 5 years now. Few hundred holes a season without an issue.
I have a Dewalt 999 and 8” auger. Drill occasionally turns off to prevent from over heating. Honestly, if I had to do it over I would just pony up and get an electric auger.
