Okay so I have never caught a fish through the ice on this lake. The picture with the yellow marks is where I've caught fish before in the canoe with minnows and jerkbaits, where I might set up my pop up hut to sit and dead stick/jig. The cyan marks are where the grass grows in the soft water season, otherwise its fairly featureless sandy bottom. The red marks are a very shallow rocky patch near shore.

Alright: where would you go for walleye and perch? I'm planning on walking out first thing in the morning and it'll be about – 15c so I would like to prioritize picking a spot to set up my portable hut. I have about every type of bait or lure you can mention, I'd take recommendations on that as well!

  1. Those spots still look good, nice structure. I’d also try deeper in the 20’ range off some of those points close to the deep bowls. Just bottom left from the black cursor I’d drill there on that point all the way down into that bowl.
