I’m going ice fishing for bluegill and crappie in south east Minnesota soon, are these jigs, mealworms, and Swedish nipple enough to catch me some fish?

Absolutely, great panfish lures, only thing I’d add is a tungsten fly but that’s just my personal preference. VMC makes them I believe.

In all honesty I catch 80% of my fish on the micro jigs with a minnow. from jumbo perch to white fish to pike.

Oh yeah! The tungsten wonderbread are on of the most popular. I usually buy Clam brand but I’m probably just paying for the name. I took my brother-in-law out a few days ago and he was using some cheap Chinese jigs, caught just as many fish as I did. The fish don’t know how much they cost. Haha.

  4. Swedish pimple and orange eagle claw micro jig….all you need.
Add some minnows or worms and get the jigging action right.

Sometimes with the Swedish pimples I just use minnow heads.

I start with aggressive jigging with 6″ raise and drops to 12″ pulls and drops.
If nothings hitting I will slow things down and finess
