Looking for advice here.
Been ice fishing for 15 years using steel leaders, and have always had good success with pike and a few walleye, Iāve never lost any fish to break offs or anything.
However, i am wanting to increase my chances of walleye and I hear fluoro is the way to go. Bought some 20# fluoro and am having a hell of a time tying it to my barrel swivels to prevent line twist. Has anyone had walleye success with pre-made fluoro leaders?

Honestly, 20lb is overkill. Try using 10 or 12lb AbrazX. Should still be significantly better than mono for when pike come through, but gives you a better chance to get walleyes to go.
