Definitely not a record breaker, but I caught my first walleye! Quite the fight on a light rod and 2lb line. 🤣 I was kind of surprised I even caught this damn thing as I was using just a jig and waxie. It was an angry little shit so I sent it back down as a gift to the ice fishing gods.

Heck yea! Any catch is a win, especially the first of a certain species. Any day you leave the water or ice without being skunked is a good day. Beats working 😅🤣
