Decided to go the budget route and pull my lowrance elite ti7 off the boat, mount an extra open water transducer on 3/4″ PVC, and throw a 12v battery in an igloo cooler (16 qt). The transducer arm pulls apart to fit in the cooler and the unit disconnects to fit inside as well. It’s a bit larger than a proper shuttle but was cheap and has a handle.

Looking back this was a better choice over the plastic ammo can I made. I put insulation but this came with it.
