I'm 240 lb, this should be strong enough right,
Looks pretty clear, and about as thick as my hand is wide.
How often should I be checking thickness, as I've been poking holes in the ice every 5 or 6 feet before I go further
Does the ice get thinner towards the center of the lake?
I'm using my m12 chainsaw to cut the ice, and I think i need to bring a gas saw, as the ice was really surprisingly difficult to cut through and the cold killed the battery fast

There’s snow on the side of the ice, it’s not as grey as the pic makes it look
There’s a lot of snow over the ice, does that weaken it, or make it form slower?
You should be pretty safe on 3-4” of ice on foot.
