What do you guys put your heaters on in your shelters? Something that’s safe and doesn’t take up a lot of space.

A foam floor pad or the ice. The bottom of the unit doesn’t get terribly hot.

I set ours on a upside down 5 gallon pail. I don’t have a reason why and I don’t know why I started doing it, now I just always do. Maybe it was forming a puddle under it years ago.

On the floor away from the wall a bit. The heat mostly goes straight up so as long as you keep that in mind and place accordingly you’ll be fine.

A collapsible milk crate. Barely takes up any room in the sled. I’m actually going to be getting another one next week for my sonar unit

Sometimes the milk crate sometimes the ice. Just depends if I have my aqua view with me
I carry it in a milk crate. So, I take it out of it and put it on top of the milk crate. Less ice melt this way
