Scheels is running a sale on the remainder of their stock of the 93sv IF bundle and I couldn't pass up the deal. Been watching them for a few years now but have no clue on how to use this thing. Any tips and or tricks I should know about?

I’ve kept it angled forward, you can angle it down when you’re fishing really deep, but for the most part I’ve used one mainly angled forward and it works just fine with zoom features
Highly recommend upgrading the battery at a minimum. Pretty sure the lead-acid one it came with gave me about 3.5 hours of runtime or so whereas the one from Amped Outdoors runs for over 10 hours no problem. As for settings, I usually keep trails, grid, and bottom fill off with noise reject set to high or medium. I keep my color gain very high (around 95%) but adjust the regular gain on the screen accordingly (usually around 65% or so). Takes a little learning curve to get used to it but was an awesome upgrade over my striker 4! It’s also made my girlfriend much more interested in ice fishing being able to watch the fish roll in more easily.
