When I’m surf fishing I stay relatively mobile until I find fish. If I hit a good looking spot I give it 15-20 minutes. If I don’t pick up anything I’m moving. Repeat until I’m on fish, then I’ll set up and stay awhile.
My skunk streaks don’t usually last long, but of course there’s always a rough day here and there.

I only fish artificials so I keep moving but I still subscribe to the mindset that chilling at the beach and soaking up some fresh air and sunshine is good for the soul even if you get skunked.
