Got this rod from my passing grandfather. Want to know if this is something I could restore and use or should it be placed on my wall for safe keeping! What you guys think?

This is a working class, fiberglass fly rod with a tuna can reel. Nothing fancy, wasn’t then and isn’t now. That thing has some stories, keep making them.
Edit: This is not worth restoring, it’s not that old, fish it as is. My first rod was a Shakespeare Wonderod in worse shape than this, caught a bunch of fish with it, it’s still in one piece.
