Hey everyone! Just picked up this pike fly kit—a 9ft 9wt combo for €100 on sale. Comes with backing and line included. It’s a medium-fast action.
What do you think? I was considering the Pike Vision (way pricier!), but I’m probably gonna grab another one of these for my float tube sessions—one with a sinking line and one with a floating line.
First time fly fishing for pike! I usually fish for trout (got a JMC Imersion 9ft 5wt) and also fish pike and perch with lures.
I’d rather have two mid-range setups that are more versatile than one expensive rod. Plus, I feel like the angler matters way more than the rod and reel anyway!
