Anyway, this was several years ago during my years as a teacher. One my 6th grade students (who knew I liked to fish) came up to me and said she caught a 16 incher this weekend. I think I rolled my eyes and said something like “I’ll believe it when I see it.” Well she was sure to show me a photo of it the following day. Still the biggest pig of a perch I’ve ever seen. Caught in upper Midwest. She got it mounted. Catch of a lifetime.

I’ve gotten a 15 and 15.5 outta Michigan but 2.3lbs.. that’s a bute. I got one of mine when I was 12 and stil remember it like it was yesterday and that was 33 years ago. Congrats to her
