First time going out since I was a kid and I’ve got some buddies with traps, but trying to jig a bunch this weekend for a derby. From research these all seemed to be decent and this is what I’m rolling with at the moment. What am I missing? What could be taken away? I’ve got a few rods, one is a dock runner cheapo and the other is a wicked ice 13. Is ice fishing flourocarbon different than regular flourocarbon? I’m a jigging rod is it sensible to put 10lb test?
