Hi everyone,
I'm relatively new to fly fishing but have had some success and have been enjoying the journey so far. I'm in New Zealand. Yesterday I picked up this old fly rod from an op-shop for $10NZD, it was just chilling in the corner and caught my girlfriend's eye.
I've been trying to delve into some old internet forums and figure out the origins of the brand/logo but the answers seem somewhat ambiguous. From what I can gather it's possibly of Scottish origin(?)
Does anyone know or recognize this brand??
I put my 5/6 reel and #6 fly line and had a couple casts in the backyard. It was super nice to cast, not in perfect condition but has definitely been looked after and I'm looking forward to having a go down the local river.
