I have been slowly working on my playlist for driving through the mountains to a new fly fishing stream. I wanna know what songs you guys listen to every time to get the vibes right for hitting the water. What kind of genres do you listen to, is there a song you and your buddies listen to when you get together for a trip, etc. This is a link to the playlist I have, mostly older music that kinda fits driving around Appalachia for me. I just find the intersection of music and fishing interesting because they are both pretty romanticized hobbies.

I love playing some bluegrass when driving through the back roads to the wild trout streams in NC I fish. Sets the mood and is fitting with the landscape I pass by.
JJ Cale, Call me the breeze
Check out JD Clayton. He was featured on a Wild Fly episode and his music fits great with the fly fishing vibe
Skynyrd on repeat and full volume while I chug a monster and stare into my streamer box while driving

Just Around the Riverbend by Judy Kuhn
Cowboys and Hippies. Lots of good country, lots of Grateful Dead
I feel like this list is not for me. I pretty much play hardcore and death metal on every fishing trip.
Hard times by Charley Crockett. Midnight run is another.
