I bought my boy Ranbo a few weeks ago into a fully cycled tank. I noticed rips at his tail fins and now I’m worried if he has a fin rot? His other fins are completly fine, only the tail one is ripped. Is it possible hw just ripped it himself?
Some info: around 5 gallon tank cycled for 1-2 months, has heater set to 27 degrees Celsius, water filter always on, fully planted tank, no other fish in the tank, water parameters are all good but the hardness KH is a little high

Have you observed any fin nipping behaviour? This looks like it. It can lead to fin rot as the fin is now vulnerable so try to keep it at bay and keep the tank clean. Apart from that, he looks healthy and your tank is beautiful!
