I designed and 3d printed a system to hold my rods in my 4runner. I’m not a fan of rod vaults and their price. So I came up with this.
The garment hooks in the back don’t have a way to attach any cordage so I designed a plate the goes under the OEM hook that has a hole for 550 cord.
Then I drew up some hooks to hold the butt end of the rod and a plate to hold the tips that attaches to a suction cup camera mount that suctions to the windshield.
We’ll see how it performs next week as I’ve got a three day trip planned.
