First time using a transducer. Wondering which way it should be pointing in the water? (Also I know there are no screws in the mount, haven’t done that yet). Thank you!

The first pic, but make sure you also angle it slightly inward so that the bottom is facing slightly toward the front of the boat. When you get up on plane, it helps to keep a signal.
