It’s certainly not a huge striper. Where I’m at they are generally in the 20-30” range. But it’s my first striper. I have been working a jerkbait for weeks trying to line up the right tides with the zero dark thirty time frame. I’ve seen over half a dozen striper get drug up the beach while I’m getting nipped by perch. And today my work paid off. I am so thrilled with how obtainable this fish is but yet each catch shows a level of commitment and dedication. I targeted a species and I landed it. I feel like I became a surf fisherman today.
