I set up this tank last June. Natural automated day/night cycle, I didn’t have any floating plants at first, they just seemed to grow and then took over but I really like the look. I had the 2 larger plants, the one in the front left corner and the 2 pieces of wood (1 in center and 1 in front), then bought the larger piece and the 2 thin plants. I had bought the moss pyramid for the plecos I planned to get and everything else is growing on its own. Right after new years, I bought 2 small clown plecos who love the wood and to hide throughout the tank, and about a month ago I bought 3 small Julii Corys. Planning to upgrade to a 30g “breeder” tank within the year, with a similar set up to add a mid level schooling species. The fish seem to coexist very well, look very healthy and seem to love the setup as well. I was thinking a school of green neons or celestial pearl danios moving forward. What do you guys think would look good with a similar set up?
