Working out the kinks on a simple “high and tight” bucktail deceiver. Materials will just be bucktail and some type of flash for now. I feel like my profile taper needs work, but I don’t have any bucktail with shorter fibers. Should I trim down long ones from the butts? Will I lose too much of the bucktail fiber’s taper?
Any and all criticisms are greatly appreciated. These will be fished for west coast stripers.
