I've recently picked up a fly rod (9' 6w) and moved to New Brunswick CA and I'm not sure how or where to start, I've watched alot of videos so I feel like I have an idea of what to do but I don't have alot of field experience. I've attached the flies I got so far.

Go to a local fly shop and ask questions. Most places are more than happy to help and buy some flies they recommend.
It’s really worth it when in a new area to pay a good guide to take you out for a whole day. Tell them you’re new and learning the area and they’re usually happy to help. Plus you get to see what they’re throwing all day long.
