Today I was going home from a hike when I noticed a nice creek.
The water comes from a small dam a couple miles up the mountain and maybe another small creek.
Do you think there are any trouts here? I’m pretty sure this creek doesn’t get stocked with any fish, so they would have to be wild.
Also there was a sign with a warning about possible sudden flood waves.

Make an extra long double haul cast about 60 feet straight upstream and let that fly dead drift right through there.
If there is a dam probably not but… I bet there’s something worth fishing for. Also there are apps you can use to look up where fish are or DNR fish reports online.
