Strung with Rio Gold 6wt on a 5wt rod, fishing here in Colorado. Our canyons get pretty windy. I’ve always fished 5wt but figured I’d give 6 fwd wt a try this year for some better load and easier short casts. I picked up this RR Tiemco Co., pretty excited. Such a pretty reel. It’s no Ferrari, but I’m 45yo, been FF since I was about 10 when my dad taught me, and it’s the nicest reel I’ve ever owned. We will see how she runs!
