New to the area…3 weekends. 1st with shrimp, 2nd with fisheries and today with mullet…..not even a nibble. What am I doing wrong or is it just not time yet? I checked fishing report and it said fosh activity high!

I’ve always had the best luck with salted squid and fishing the holes on an incoming tide. Moving beaches also helps.

That’s the ticket where I fish in SoTx & always catch something, even if annoying hardheads. Maybe try a plastic or chuck spoons?
