I currently have 6 glowlight tetras in my 30 gallon planted tank. I wanted to add a single honey gourami and some shrimp. However! The online store I'm ordering from has a minimum order of £35 to proceed. However, I don't want to stock my tank too much and I want to keep it light! Unfortunately, I need to add other fish to the order, I was thinking some cardinal tetras too! They seem nice.
However! Would that be too stocked? (I want to keep it light)

It'd be, 6 lowlight tetras, 6 cardinal tetras, a couple shrimp, and 1 honey gourami. (13 fish and a couple of shrimp in my 30 gallon)

I was thinking, if I were to get just 3 cardinal tetras, I know they need minimum 6 but if getting just 3, do you think they'd shoal/ school with the 6 glowlight tetras currently in my tank, to make up for their missing numbers? That way, l'd be able to keep my tank as light as I could by getting 3 cardinals instead of 6.

Responses, opinions, experiences and advice would be very appreciated!
